If you were out:
The summative for the Age of the Earth Unit will be on Friday, with review starting on Wednesday. Here are 3 things not yet covered, for which you will be responsible:
- Most fossil fuels on Earth fromed during the “Carboniferous” between 360 and 286 MYA,during the Mississippian and Pennsylvanian Periods.
- Oldest life - 3.5 Billion Years ago (BYA).
- The mile thick ice sheets that covered Biddeford (and all of New England) retreated about 11,000 years ago, marking the start of the Holocene Epoch.
- Your Geologic Time Webquests have been returned - correct it using the online key - Visit the blog for the link.
- The last in-class time to complete your Time line was today, in class. If you are not done, the only time to work on it before grades close is Wednesday during lunch.
- If you did the webquest, but didn’t get one back see me. If I don’t have it from the substitute…it wasn’t turned in. Try to find it to show me for a Responsibility grade.
