No new homework - but if you are behind teacher pace (The third sheet - Zork Genetics, was due Thursday)  for the Mendelian Genetics (Punnett square) practice sheets, work on them at home.

Do Now: Review your notes on the following: Trailblazers Notes, and the meanings of:
Allele
Recessive and dominant trait.
Genotype and phenotype.

Copy the following notes for lesson U3Act4 to your journal.

    U3Act4:  Where are the Genes?
    Genes: A segment of DNA that carries hereditayr instruction, is passed from parents to offspring    and is located on chromosomes.
    DNA is made of 4 bases
    Adenine (A), Thymine (T) Guanine (G) and Cytosine (C).
    Each group of 3 base pairs codes for he Amino Acids in a protein.
