If you were out, the Do Now for today was in your journal, to go to the microscope that you drew yesterday and add as many labels as you can remember (there are 15 all together) and if needed, improve your drawing. Then finish taping on the labels to the photocopied microscope diagram that you taped into the journal. Some examples of Examples:
Does your drawing have two legs to make up the base?
Does it have the correct number of objective lenses?
Does it have a coarse and smaller fine adjustment knob?
See me to set up a time to take a formative assessment on the microscope anatomy.
At the end of class I collected journals and we watched a short video on the Microscopic World.
