Do now for 9/27/16
Skip a page for the “e” lab and  at the top of the next page write the heading U1Act6: Scientific Drawings. Below that, answer the following: What are the four requirements for scientific drawings?[list them] (we covered it in class yesterday and a strong hint remains!)
If you haven’t yet leveled up, see me and bring your journal and Microscope Care Project.  I will quiz you and from memory you will need to summarize or demonstrate using a microscope the 5 points of Good Microscope Care.
If you have leveled up from 1 to 2, then if needed, see me for a copy of the half sheet handout and the multi-page handout that goes with the activity.  At the top of the page in your journal,  write “U1Act5: Microscope Optics” and tape in the half sheet below it.  Answer question 6 on the blank lines that should be showing below the handout on the page. When you’ve completed the activity with the microscope and the newsprint “e” and answered all questions, return the multi page handout to the tray on my desk, tape the half sheet in to your journal and show me. When you have successfully completed U1Act5: Microscope Optics, I will give you the handout for U1Act6: Microscope Drawings to be completed. You will be drawing 5 different slides, trimming and taping the handout to the page we set up for the Do Now today.
